Track Feat
Characters of any class may select the Track feat during character creation or upon leveling up. This feat represents a character’s ability to find tracks in the wilderness and identify nearby creatures. All rangers automatically receive the Track feat at first level.
Tracking enables the character to attempt to identify the type, number, and location of creatures within a particular area. The success of the tracking attempt and the level of detail a character is able to discern are based upon a number of variables and factors:
• Weather
• Time of day
• Size and weight of the creature being tracked
• Feats in use by the creature being tracked
• Type of terrain
• Wilderness Lore skill score
• Favored Enemy selection of the ranger
Using the Track Feat
To attempt tracking, the character with this feat can either select the feat in their radial menu or type |track in the chat dialogue window. Both techniques allow the character to remain
in a stealthed state.
